Waiterrant.net war das erste Gastroblog, das ich gelesen habe. Insiderberichte eines New Yorker Kellners. So schonungslos und ehrlich, wie man sie nur anonym – und somit in Deutschland nicht – schreiben kann.
„The Waiter“ hat seinen Job als Kellner inzwischen an den Nagel gehängt – und sein Blog zum Buch gemacht. Ich wünsche ihm, dass er damit ordentlich Erfolg haben wird.

Maybe I could help pharmaceutical companies develop a patch that transmits a daily dose of aggravation, sexual harassment, unfair labor practices, excitement, boredom, high pressure, late night snacking, customer entitlement, nicotine, greasy staff meals, alcohol, sleeping late, and tooth decay though the skin. Slap that sucker on your arm and it’ll be like you never left!
