Kritische Stimmen zum OLPC

Während ich hier gespannt auf meinen G1G1-XO warte, will ich auch die kritischen Stimmen zum OLPC-Projekt nicht verschweigen:

Lee Felsenstein:

The outcome in this case to be avoided is the perception that “you can’t give computers to those people – it won’t work for them”. I can see this as a very real possibility if we all keep our mouths shut and act as if the laptop is the culmination of computer tehnology as far as the developing world goes.

und Atanu Dey:

They don’t really intentionally kill babies just to make more money, do they? They wouldn’t, would they? Well, I don’t really know.

Speziell Atanu ist äußerst lesenswert, insbesondere wenn man von dem Projekt begeistert ist.
