Das Interview mit Susanne Osthoff kritisch beleutet:

TP: “Verstehen Sie?”

Beim Lesen des Interviews fiel mir auf, dass wie schon Georg Meggle erläuterte,

1. Frau Osthoff agiert und nicht planlos reagiert.
2. Viele Politiker noch weniger auf die Fragen des Interviewpartners eingehen als Frau Osthoff dies tut.
3. Man mit gutem Willen und ein wenig “Erkan & Stefan” eigentlich ganz gut verstehen kann, was Frau Osthoff sagen will. Immerhin ist sie kein Medienprofi.

Und das alles nach mehrwöchiger Geiselhaft und Medienschelte…Hut ab, Frau Osthoff

The german Susanne Osthoff has been kidnapped in Irak. After being freed she was critisized massively by the german media. After an interview with the news-anchor Marietta Slomka, Osthoff was described as being “not in charge of her situation mentally”.

The article in Telepolis is the first piece I have read that deals with Mrs. Osthoff in a sympathetic way. After reading the text of the interview, I also have to say that Mrs. Osthoff was in charge of the interview, constantly stating her points, not matter what the questions were. There are polititians who ignore questions of the interviewer even more than she did. And with a little good-will (and given the fact that she is no ‘media-pro’, her words were understandable.
